Summer Retreat cottage preserved its vintage charm after four decades

This beautiful, frame cottage is a summer residence designed by designer Jens Risom. Built in the middle of the last century on the northern part of Block Island, Rhode Island, the house became a modern two-story summer home for the whole family. The residence features two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open kitchen, a living room, and a dining area.
