Villa in Vietnam
Architectural bureau VACO Design designed a private house 911-VILLA in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The residence with an area of 1083 square meters is inspired by folk architecture. The design favors contemporary minimalism, which corresponds to the lifestyle of the client—a young professional with an extensive car collection.
The villa's design is inspired by the principle of layering, which is reflected primarily in traditional clothing, aligning with climatic conditions and serving as a sign of courtesy. Vietnamese folk architecture embodies the same spirit. Traditional buildings are covered with layers of wood or natural materials, presenting a succession of corridors and rooms. This architectural solution is an elegant response to the local climate with abundant sunshine and rainfall, as well as a symbol of culture that values solitude and the connection between man and nature.
