Casa Guna House by Pezo von Ellrichshausen Studio7 photos
A two-story concrete Casa Guna was designed by the architectural design studio Pezo von Ellrichshausen for a rural family in San Pedro de la Paz, central Chile, where it was planted between a lagoon and eucalyptus forest. Aiming to locate most of the living and studio spaces on one level, the architects developed a large concrete structure in which the compact lower level supports a much larger upper floor with rooms opening onto a central courtyard. The wooden formwork used during concrete pouring gave the building's walls a rough striped texture with a dark patina.
