Architectural bureau G. Natkevicius & Partners designed a private house in Kaunas, Lithuania. The family residence with an area of 357 square meters is located in a unique spot on the shore of the flooded quarry Lampedis. Thanks to the beautiful nature, the landscape design is minimalist and emphasizes the view over the water body.

The dynamics inside the interior spaces are created by an open hall in the center of the building, connected to the library on the second floor. The ground floor features a spacious and bright living area with kitchen and dining room. In line with the facade, minimalist aesthetics are maintained within the interior of the house as well. This project allows one to feel a connection between human life, surrounding nature, and architecture.
