Modern Reconstruction of a Former Farmhouse in Catalonia17 photos
In the 21st century, this historic stone manor in Catalonia, Spain, began a new life. Bohemian interiors and 19th-century furniture gave way to minimalism, dark tones, and wood. The main three-story house was not the only one to undergo renovation; the adjacent building, once a stable, also received a complete overhaul. Horses still live on the estate today, but they now have other buildings assigned to them. The interior features bright spaces alternating with dark-toned rooms, which beautifully reflect the history of the building — it was built at a time when electricity was not even a thought. The backyard was also decorated in the style of the house — minimalism and simple geometric shapes, with a large pool surrounded by trees and neat bushes. The contrast between the old and modern elements in this estate looks very striking, offering a great new life!
