At the end of a long road winding through dense trees and neighboring houses, sits a 1960s-built residence that was the subject of a modernization project by Lloyd Hartley Architects. Although the original structure was functional, it did not harmonize well with the landscape and failed to fully showcase the breathtaking views of Waitemo Bay in Auckland, New Zealand.
