Stone House in Wyoming
McLean Quinlan Architects architectural bureau built a modern stone house in Jackson, Wyoming, USA. Its design was inspired by a nearby historic building of the XIX century. The two-story rectangular building with cedar roof is located on a sloping plot with panoramic views of the surroundings and the Teton mountain range. Architects aimed to achieve maximum harmony between the building and its natural environment, carefully planning its orientation, design, and use of exclusively natural materials, both new and reclaimed.
The design of this residence, which combines elements of European lodge and classic North American country home, was developed by the clients themselves, talented designers.
