Glass, Steel and Concrete House Among Wild Nature of New York State
Architect Jay Bargmann, vice president of Rafael Viñoly Architects architectural bureau, presented the design of an unusual house in New York State, USA. The Shokan Residence is built right in the heart of picturesque nature near Ashokan Reservoir, offering a view of Catskill Mountain peak. The house is surrounded by oaks, firs, pines and rare birches, while hawks, turkeys, foxes, deer and bears often visit.
Olive wood furniture defines the interior space, while ceramics, painted steel items and stainless steel work surfaces break up the interior design.
