House for Relaxation in the Mountains of Bulgaria
House for Relaxation in the Mountains of Bulgaria
The Villa DO project is a vacation house in the mountains designed by architect Rado Iliev. This single-story building with an area of 100 square meters includes a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a wardrobe, and a storage room. The house is built on the northern slope of the mountain Balkan chain, Stara Planina, in Bulgaria. On the forested terrain with large oval stones, beech trees dominate, which makes the landscape palette change throughout the year, offering majestic views from all sides.
The interior is characterized by simplicity and comfort created through exposed beams, minimal lighting between them, natural finishes, and calm furniture.
