Residential Complex in Canada
The team of architects from Alain Carle Architecte created a project with a total area of 830 square meters in Canada. The residence is divided into 4 pavilions arranged around an open inner courtyard. Mostly recycled materials were used for construction. The wall cladding is made from wood from a decommissioned sawmill, and the paving was quarried from an old quarry on site. The house is oriented toward the south to ensure natural energy gain, which in combination with a geothermal system provides overall energy efficiency.
