Architectural firm Warren and Mahoney designed a private lake view house on Lake Wakatipu and magnificent mountain ranges beyond it in New Zealand. The residence consists of a series of simple volumes, where a cedar wood block includes bedrooms, and a zinc-covered wing accommodates the living area. The building is integrated into the existing topography, enhancing the feeling of living in an alpine landscape and providing comfortable seclusion after a long day on ski slopes.
