Eco-Friendly House in Denmark
Eco-Friendly House in Denmark
In the development of the TK-33 project, architects from Tegnestuen LOKAL focused on identifying typical elements of Danish homes that pollute the environment and replacing them with more eco-friendly alternatives. For example, they decided to abandon the standard use of brick-faced gas concrete. Instead of load-bearing concrete walls, they used a wooden frame clad with a thin layer of durable roofing tiles. Moreover, this facade system is certified according to the C2C standard, allowing for gradual or complete replacement of individual tile elements in case of damage, with the possibility of repairing entire sections.
