The studio Gangoly & Kristiner Architekten designed a chalet in a picturesque region between two mountains in Austria. A respectful approach to nature and reverence for traditions formed the basis of the design along with the desire to create timeless, comfortable housing for a family and guests. Views of the lake and mountains determined the spatial zoning. Wood was used as the main material for finishing, complemented by elements made of concrete and brass.
