House on the Australian Coast
House on the Australian Coast
The project bureau Auhaus Architecture presented a private house in the small town of Barwon Heads in the state of Victoria, Australia. Its development took place within the project The Auhaus Release from LifeSpaces Group, aimed at creating ready-to-build residences from the best Australian architects.
The modern house with a total area of 304 square meters is designed for peaceful living and outdoor entertainment, offering a blend of modern style, warmth, rugged simplicity, and earthy luxury. It is built from stone and wood, whose aesthetic appeal is enhanced by durability and resistance to adverse weather conditions on the Australian coast.
Inside the house, the black matte kitchen with brass fittings and solid oak flooring is a strong focal point. The dining area and two living rooms form an open space with the kitchen. The house also includes four bedrooms, a study, a dedicated workspace, a cozy reading nook, several bathrooms, a storage room, and a double garage.
