Modern design of a luxurious historical mansion in the center of Lille

When the current owners first discovered this historical mansion with a total area of 600 sq. m in the center of Lille, they fell in love with the magnificent classical details of the rooms and luxurious wall decor. However, the house was far from modern living realities, so they hired the renowned designer Sarah Lavoine to prepare the interiors for a large family with children, while preserving all original architectural elements as much as possible. Now, classical wooden panels on the walls, cornices, and door fittings coexist beautifully with modern furniture and clean lines. A perfect mix!
