This stunning residence is located on a picturesque island in Washington state, USA. We think it's every countryside dream: a private dock, cozy pavilions, and a house surrounded by forest. Despite using classical materials like wood and stone, the architect managed to create a very modern look thanks to simple geometry and large windows. The terrace features a fireplace and grill, as well as a cozy fire-zone area with a wood-burning stove, perfect for roasting sausages or marshmallows over the fire in the evening. We also fell in love with the bathroom with a forest view: it's so pleasant to relax in warm water while watching nature. Perhaps nothing beats a countryside house next to a lake surrounded by forest!
