Modern View of Rustic Style: Rental House in Croatia19 photos

This rental house is located in the village of Golash in Croatia, close to the sea, making holiday villas very popular here. The interior design was inspired by the stone facade of the building, and the designer chose to continue the rustic theme (rural, simple) inside as well. However, he implemented this idea in a modern way: comfortable furniture, gray tones, familiar appliances and lighting, and definitely not vintage-style fireplace. Nevertheless, the authentic rural atmosphere was enhanced by exposed beams, aged furniture, chests, firewood, and vintage photographs. The veranda and pool surrounded by stone masonry create an even stronger impression. When done skillfully, the rustic style can easily complement a modern interior!
