Fantastic Transformation of a 19th Century Townhouse in Brooklyn24 photos
Designers from Elizabeth Robert Architecture & Design managed to transform this 1850s-built townhouse in New York into a home that, in terms of space and ambiance, resembles a country residence. Upon entering, you are greeted by a solid yet elegant black door and a luxurious staircase reminiscent of futurist style. The kitchen-dining room is the most spacious area, with large windows overlooking the backyard.
This space features a large stove, a substantial range hood, a long wooden table, a mini-home cinema for the whole family, and even a step stool to reach items on upper shelves. The house retains 19th-century fireplaces and hearths, while the past centuries are also reflected in charming floral wallpapers and vintage furniture. The townhouse spans four floors, with each room deserving its own story. It's a very interesting project!
