Warm and Cozy Cottage for Two in the Mountains11 photos

When their children grew up and went off to college, Manuel and Sofia decided to find a cozy nest in the mountains where they could visit on weekends and enjoy the wonderful nature and peaceful time together. This small wooden cottage at the foot of the mountains in the Aran valley in northern Spain was perfect for these purposes, but at the time of purchase it did not look as attractive as it does now. Designers had to work hard to restore the appearance of wood in interiors, add a modern fireplace in the living room, and fill the space with warmth using textiles and decor. It turned out very warm and heartwarming!
