House in the building of a former school by the Amstel river in the Netherlands21 photos
The building on the banks of the Amstel river was built in 1921 and functioned as a school, St. Joseph's School, until 1975. It became a private house only in 2014. With 536 square meters, there is plenty of space to relax, especially with high ceilings and large windows. Where once were classrooms and a school cafeteria, there are now a kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. The gymnasium was left almost untouched. And, of course, any school is not complete without a backyard and veranda – a spacious lawn can be used for sports, games, parties, or peaceful relaxation. We believe the owner of this house will be very happy here, as children's energy is wonderful, and when such views open from the windows, it’s double happiness!
