When designer Jessica Helgeson was asked to update the interiors of this historic Victorian mansion in Portland, built in 1886, she was impressed by the unique details of the period's decor. Therefore, the approach to decorating the interior spaces was carefully and respectfully done — many original details were left virtually untouched. On the other hand, the owners requested more elements of modern design, and Jessica skillfully integrated them into the classical shell. The result is a very distinctive and interesting interior!
