Beautiful Lake Cottage on the Site of a Burned Cottage

This wonderful lake cottage in the state of Washington would never have seen the light of day if not for a sad turn of events. A few years ago, due to a fire, the old 100-year-old cottage that the owners loved so much was destroyed. When building a new house on the same plot, architects had to strive to restore the charm and appeal that were present here before. At the same time, the house had to become comfortable modern housing for a family for at least the next 100 years. We know what the old house looked like, but the new one turned out simply breathtaking!
