Instead of building a new house from scratch, designers from Hoedemaker Pfeiffer proposed renovating an old beach cottage with an addition to preserve the authentic spirit and atmosphere of the dwelling. Since the house is located close to the beach on Whidbey Island in Washington and serves as a weekend getaway for its owners, most of the windows face beautiful sea views.

There is also a terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture where one can enjoy nature for hours in good company. Perfect!
