The 600 square meter Oxygen Forest House was built by Susanna Cots Interior Design studio in the Catalan region of Alt Empordà, Spain. The project is conceived as an ode to nature, its captivating forces, source of life and tranquility.
Neutral colors and a respectful approach to nature distinguish the design concept of this project.
The kitchen is one of the separate pavilions, where the touch of a Catalan stylist is evident through the carefree play of straight lines on a white oak ceiling, creating a mood of endless weekend day.
The next cube is located in the center of the residence and consists of two halves connected by a transparent and light-conducting wall on both sides. On the side, you can find the entrance to the residence guarded by an original sculpture, and behind it a small hall; on the other half is the living room without a television, serving as a place exclusively for conversation.
The main bedroom is another module located in the eastern wing of the house, connected to an internal courtyard represented by a small ecosystem of olive and oak trees growing from all four sides of the dwelling.
Four bedrooms in another pavilion were developed following the same concept of blending with the environment.
Finally, the garage became the next cubic module attached to the building.
Nature surrounding the structure deserves special attention, as it visually integrates into the interior of the house thanks to small open patios between pavilions.
It seems as if time has stopped its swift pace, enjoying the unhurried flow of life in the Oxygen Forest House.
