A 330 square meter villa in Le Havre, France, designed by architects Atelier du Pont, is intended for people connected by family ties but who wish to maintain a certain degree of independence.
One of the architects' goals was to preserve as many existing trees as possible. The facade was mainly constructed using wood, which resonates with the surrounding pines. The building exists in full harmony with nature, dissolving into the surrounding landscape.
One of the distinctive features of the interior is a large curved staircase, which serves as a counterpoint to triangular windows and other diagonal lines that create an unusual interior space.
