Villa on the Island of Paros
White villa on the island of Paros, Greece, designed by VOIS Architects studio. Its name H_orizon reflects, on one hand, the configuration of the building which resembles the shape of the letter H, and on the other — the architects' desire to create an environment that allows residents to remain in constant visual contact with the endless sea horizon.
The living area is recessed, creating an opportunity to not obstruct the view of the sea opening from the wide opening with furniture. Bedrooms and service rooms are located in two parallel wings of the house, placed on both sides of the central part. The pool in front of the living room draws the gaze to the horizon, blending into the endless water surface.
