House from 1901 in New York: meeting of past and present
The New York house built in 1901 has been well preserved and reached our days in almost pristine condition. However, over time the family of five people found it uncomfortable to live there, and they needed a redesign and adaptation of the house to modern living conditions. The kitchen was too small and outdated, there was no shower in the bathrooms, and there was a sink in the bedroom that was no longer used. The designer managed to create a stylish interior for a modern family with maximum accuracy and attention to detail. At the same time, the historical part—featuring mosaics, window frames and cornices—remained untouched. This is a wonderful encounter between the present and the past.
