Ranch-Style House in the Australian Outback
The Ceres House is a spacious and comfortable home designed by Dan Gayfer Design studio in the rural suburb of Gilgandra, Australia.
The sprawling single-story building, covering 1450 square meters, is partly inspired by the architectural style of American ranch houses with their large panoramic windows, sharp roofs, and asymmetrical layouts.
The serene rural landscape is an inseparable part of the house and its aesthetics; it seems to be borrowed from the surrounding nature to become an organic component of the interior.
