FIO House Project with Organic Pool in São Paulo by Studio MK-2729 photos
The FIO House project was developed by Studio MK27 under the direction of architect Marcio Kogan in São Paulo, Brazil. The architectural promenade in FIO House begins in the garden on the first floor and continues along a textured ramp leading to a terrace with colorful chairs and an outdoor fireplace. Moving along the external common area, one can reach a protected and cozy environment featuring a fully glazed living room with a ceiling made of light wood. The same material was used in the construction of the facade. The lightness of glass and steel structure on the second level is supported by an impermeable base of the first floor.
The living room is fully visible from the street through sliding glass doors measuring 3.70 by 2.80 meters. The doors can open depending on weather and climate conditions, while the glass handrails ensure residents' safety without creating any obstacles or disrupting the connection between interior and exterior spaces. On this floor, the kitchen and bathroom complete the tour of the house. On the sleeping level, wooden sunshades are installed that filter external light, creating a sense of climatic comfort even on the hottest days.
