Magnificent Georgian Townhouse in Scotland
And yet, there is something special and alluring about refined historical architecture that modern new residential buildings cannot offer. This includes lofty ceilings, large windows nearly spanning entire walls, and if lucky—original decorative elements that have survived for over a century. All these features are present in this magnificent townhouse located in the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. For the last 60 years, the house was used as an office for a legal firm, but the new owner—a local designer—decided to restore its former glory. What resulted from this transformation is featured in today's tour!
