House at the Edge of Nature Reserve in Poland72 photos
Designed by de.materia studio, the private house JRv2 with a total area of 430 square meters is located in a picturesque green corner at the edge of the Zhuravinytsia Nature Reserve, Poland.
The layout of the house resembles the letter T. One wing houses the living room with a dining area and kitchen, open to the surrounding park.
The perpendicular wing, partially cut by the slope, contains technical rooms and a small guest room. The other part of this wing includes a wardrobe, bathroom, and bedroom that opens to the garden. This spatial arrangement allows for the creation of a terrace, separated from neighbors.
While the garage is entirely made of wood (both structure and cladding), the lower part is constructed from concrete. The roof of the living volume is planted with grass and rabbit cabbage. The facades are decorated with larch wood, while interiors feature oak.
