Apartment with area of 53 square meters in Tel Aviv19 photos

Architects RUST designed an apartment with an area of 53 square meters located in a building of international style in the heart of Tel Aviv, Israel. The building, which is part of the World Heritage site — the White City — was constructed 85 years ago. It is characterized by small apartments with high ceilings and wide bands of windows.

The box containing the workspace was placed between these zones. Here are two convenient workspaces, which are separated from the rest of the space by steel structures with glass inserts.

Due to the need to accommodate a significant number of details in a small apartment, architects chose a classical structure and traditional finishing materials such as steel, glass, and wood. By combining different textures and using a calm color palette of several shades of gray and natural wood tone, designers managed to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
