House in the Forest of Argentina

Project of a house in Argentina was developed by the architecture studio Estudio Galera. The building with an area of 220 square meters is located on the top of a dune in the forest of Karilo, opposite an undeveloped nature reserve.

The architects envisioned that the building could dematerialize. The roof slab turns into a pavilion with open side enclosures, allowing sunlight to enter inside. The facade wall does not reach the ground, creating a transitional space between the house and the forest.

The main idea of the project was to perceive the structure as a way of interaction between human and the surrounding environment, where all elements are continuously connected.
