Villa with View of Khao Yai National Park
The Akas villa project, designed by Black Pencils Studio in Pakchong, Thailand, draws inspiration from the beauty of Nakorn Ratchasima province's landscape, featuring its famous Khao Yai National Park, which is visible directly from the property.
The 450 square meter building consists of two simple rectangular volumes stacked one on top of the other with a significant offset. The living room, combined with the kitchen and dining area, is located on the second floor to take advantage of a large glazed opening leading to a terrace offering spectacular views of the national park.
The terrace sits on the lower volume, which includes three bedrooms connected to a private garden where the same scenic views can be enjoyed.
The natural landscape is perceived not only from the living room but also from every corner of the residence. From the moment a visitor enters the house through the car parking block, a view of the natural park unfolds, becoming the key element that underpins the remarkable atmosphere of this villa created by architects using the unique site's advantages in a thoughtful spatial composition.
