House with area of 350 square meters in Israel40 photos
The studio Daniel Arev Architecture designed a house with an area of 350 square meters in Israel.
On the first floor, there is a parents' bedroom and a main living room with double height and access to the terrace and garden. The dividing wall between the living room and the bedroom, located on the side facade, is made of a wooden bookcase with a "hidden" door, which provides privacy for the inhabitants.
The layout of the upper floor includes two sections of children's bedrooms connected by an open gallery with a small living room. This arrangement allows viewing the second floor from below and vice versa, creating a cozy atmosphere enhanced by the prominent presence of an open beam ceiling structure.
The palette of construction materials used was simple — mainly stone, wood, steel, and plaster in their natural, raw form.
A small garden surrounding the house is planted with local citrus varieties and herbs.
