House in Lithuania20 photos
Designers Ramunas Manikas and Valdas Kontriomas developed the interior of a house in Šiauliai, Lithuania.
The character of the interior is minimalist and ascetic. Strict forms of spatial elements and furniture, as well as a contrasting color palette, emphasize refined style. Flooring in the color of smoked oak, doors and panels of the same shade that decorate the fireplace, dominate the interior. They contrast with white walls and light-toned furniture. Black chandeliers, fireplace detailing, and door handles enliven this strict color scheme.
An accent in the first-floor interior is created by an aquarium, whose aquatic plants bring a natural note and sense of comfort to the space.
Simple, strict solutions like these are repeated on the second floor, forming a unified modern interior of the house.
