Country House in Monteville Settlement

A country house with a total area of 800 square meters was designed by the developer of the Monteville settlement and was handed over to the architectural bureau of Alexandra Fedorova with some initial data in the form of a large number of semi-circular bay windows and height differences inside the rooms. Since the clients wanted a modern interior, this somewhat complicated the work.

All other materials are contrasted in a very soft color palette and are pleasant to the touch. Light marble was used on the floor, and wood on the walls. Together with soft sofa upholstery, textiles, and fluffy carpets, they create a whole cozy but modern image.

The kitchen and dining room zones are located in the right wing from the hall. The dining room is visible from the hall and the fireplace room, while the kitchen itself is hidden behind a wooden partition. There is also additional space for breakfast not only at the bar counter but also on the terrace.

The living room area is located in the left part of the house and consists of main elements including sofas with coffee tables and a TV. The contrasting anthracite wall adds richness to the overall calm color scheme of the interior.

The staircase area has no natural light and rises to three floors. The steps are cantilevered from the wall, which makes the staircase look light and weightless. In contrast to the marble and glass, the back walls of the staircase are finished in concrete formwork. The center of the staircase composition is a chandelier descending in a cascade from the third floor to the first.

The second floor is completely private, with two bedrooms (for husband and wife) with their own bathrooms and wardrobes, an office, and a small common hall with a sofa area.

The third floor is designed as a spa and relaxation zone, including a massage room, bar, fireplace area, jacuzzi, sauna, hamam, and bathrooms.
