House on the Coast in Portugal
The Casa Elíptica project was inspired by the coastal relief of Praia da Luz in Portugal. Architects from Mário Martins Atelier studio created a building that balances between a solid volume and free space, on a 400 sq. meter area.
White facade cladding and the height of the structure echo the features of neighboring houses, making the overall development more harmonious. The complex structure of the building, along with large panoramic windows, allows enjoying the beautiful view from rooms and open areas. The abundance of sunlight inside the interior adds lightness to the atmosphere, while light tones and natural materials in the decor do not distract from contemplating nature.
