Ambadj is one of the artificial archipelago islands in the Persian Gulf, belonging to the kingdom of Bahrain, where a large number of expensive and beautiful real estate properties have been built in recent years using the most modern technologies. Such buildings include the 977 square meter villa AAK designed by Moriq Studio.

The house stands on a stepped plot with adjacent buildings to the north and south, and opens to the sea on the western side. Due to the neighboring houses, two of the longest walls lack windows. Based on these features of the object, architects focused their attention on the western side of the building facing the ocean.

A few cubic volumes of the villa are arranged in an apparent disorder and intersected by openings, internal courtyards, and water spaces.

To compensate for the lack of windows on the southern and northern sides, two internal courtyards with skylights were designed.

The three-story house has two entrances. The first floor contains a large public space with a living room, kitchen, and dining room, as well as a wooden terrace leading to a panoramic pool stretching directly before the ocean.

The second floor includes several bedrooms, including a large master bedroom resembling more of a separate apartment, equipped with everything needed for private family life: its own living room, pantry (equipped with a coffee machine, stove, and refrigerator), pool, freely standing shower and toilet cabins, etc.

The third floor consists of two bedrooms, a living room with a bar, dining room, and storeroom. All three floors are connected by a staircase and elevator.

The main highlight of this villa is the ocean view, which opens from all floors of the building. The monochrome palette is broken by rare splashes of color present in some custom-made furniture and art pieces. The floors are covered with natural gray stone, the walls are built of silver travertine, while the ceiling remains purely white, except for wooden accents in some specially highlighted areas.
