White Villa in Tel Aviv
During the construction of this house in 1948, architect Shmuel Barkai was inspired by the works of the great Le Corbusier. And the building indeed resembles the projects of this renowned master: block volumes with columns, roof-terraces, geometric stained glass windows and white color. Later, the building was converted into a hotel called White Villa. The hotel positions itself as a quiet oasis in the heart of a noisy metropolis.
It's hard to disagree with this: white color surrounded by green plants is very relaxing, and the unhurried atmosphere prevailing in the hotel puts you even more in the mood for rest. The interior is stylish and unobtrusive; black-and-white classic never loses to the others. Some rooms have their own small inner courtyard where you can enjoy a cozy breakfast in the morning and read a book in the evening. The hotel also features an excellent restaurant and a garden terrace.
