Thoughtful Minimalist Interior of a House in Palermo
A minimalist and thoughtfully designed interior of a 120 square meter house in Palermo, Italy, was created by Studio DiDeA. The architects aimed to create multi-functional spaces, dedicating most of the home to living areas that can be shared with friends and family.
Plenty of hidden wardrobes save space and allow the apartment to look as minimalist as possible.
Thanks to large windows connected to the balcony, the living room and dining area are flooded with light. The absence of unnecessary items in this open space is enhanced by furniture from well-known brands such as Toio lamps from Flos and Tolomeo from Artemide, or chairs from Vitra.
Two types of flooring define different zones: natural wood flooring in the living room, dining room and bedroom, contrasted with a poured floor in the kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry room.
The small bedrooms are sparsely furnished. The main bedroom is equipped with built-in wardrobes. In the strictly designed bathroom with plastered concrete walls and wooden elements, minimalist red accents play an important role, including the shower, tap and radiator.
A well-thought-out automation system is designed to help owners enjoy their home in the best way possible.
