Family residence in former school building in Belgium

Former rural school near the city of Turnhout, Belgium was renovated by architects from Guillaume Da Silva ArchitectureS agency, transforming it into a modern and comfortable residence.

Designing the interior and exterior, architects aimed to create winning perspectives, working with the idea of symmetry and playing with volume proportions. The resulting flawless spaces feature striking finishes using materials of different textures — pristine plaster, raw concrete, and matte toned oak. Carefully planned lighting creates the right atmosphere in every corner of the house.
