Mountain View Vacation Home in USA

Designed by Dynia Architects, the Boulder Cabin vacation home with a total area of 232 square meters is located in the suburbs of Boulder, USA. The elongated structure is arranged to maximize the view of the surrounding landscape with mountain vistas. The abundance of glass, wooden and concrete surfaces, as well as cladding made from corten steel follow the choice of economical and durable materials. Owners aimed to minimize energy consumption and waste during construction, and also built the house significantly smaller than the allowable size to focus attention on the landscape. The core design philosophy was based on understanding the interaction between the building structure and the natural environment.
