House for Family in Australia
Architecture studio Philip M Dingemanse presented the project of a house in the valley located in Australia. The 267 square meter residence is built into the northwest slope of a hill, offering views of the neighboring city and river beyond. Designing a functional family home, architects aimed to combine practical requirements with the specific conditions of the site and climate. The dark facade features protective wings and open areas allowing sunlight to enter the building. Small terraces leading to the kitchen are situated on both sides of the house. The structure is built from wooden timber. The external shell is clad in sheet metal. The house is equipped with efficient water heating technology and a photovoltaic generator located at the center of the storage block, as well as LED lights installed throughout.
