Project firm Nava Yavetz Architects presented a modern villa on the Mediterranean sea coast in Ashdod, Israel. The design of the 600 square meter residence is inspired by the views and sounds of the sea, sand, and light breeze. The structure is based on functionality of spaces, maximization of panoramic views, and free circulation of air flows. The villa is presented as two blocks, one of which includes common-use rooms such as a two-level living room, dining room, and kitchen, while the private area features the main and children's bedrooms, as well as bathrooms. Each room in the house offers views of the pool on the terrace and the blue sea. The interior space occupies a large courtyard that connects the interior with outdoor relaxation areas. Natural ventilation in the house is well planned, as is the orientation of rooms to sunlight. Simple and high-quality materials used in the project include concrete, steel, wood, aluminum, and glass.
