Project bureau ColectivArquitectura presented the Grândola villa in the eponymous settlement of Grândola in Portugal. The 207 square meter residence is built on a picturesque plot and adapts to its surroundings, dividing into blocks and forming two internal courtyards. Thus, the interior of the house finds continuation outdoors, and visual contact points are possible thanks to the play of different heights in the volumes. Meanwhile, rooms are filled with light, and air flows freely penetrate into the distant parts of the house. In addition to the central open-plan living zone, combined with the dining room and kitchen, the house includes a main bedroom with a bathroom, two additional rooms, a laundry room, storage, and a swimming pool.
