Village House in the Italian Alps

Architect Rocco Borromini undertook the renovation of an old village house, building a comfortable family residence on its ruins.

On the first floor is a kitchen with a fireplace area, and on the second and third floors, there is one bedroom and bathroom on each. A very light staircase with glass landings between flights connects the three floors from the eastern side of the house and allows for an appreciation of the overall height of the building.
