Stone House with Panoramic Windows
Architect Rocco Borromini realized an interesting project of a private house in the city of Sondrio, Italy. The A.P. House residence has a rational structure and functional content, using materials inspired by local traditions. The house has an L-shaped form, which protects the central inner courtyard from wind and achieves the desired integration with the surrounding mountain landscape. Traditional stone walls are combined with modern panoramic windows, offering direct access to the pool from the bedroom and dining room. In addition to these rooms, the residence also includes two additional bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, with a total area of 150 square meters.
