House Reconstruction for Young Couple in London7 photos

Architecture firm Scenario Architecture presented a project for the reconstruction of a two-story house for a young couple in London. The owners of the Annis Road residence turned to designers to update the first-floor space and make it more functional. Architects designed a convenient bicycle storage area on the side of the house, and benches at the entrance were equipped with space for footwear. Walls next to the old fireplace were demolished to create an opening and a view into the kitchen. The floor, made of light polished concrete, in this part of the house is lowered to separate it from other areas. Designers provided additional workspace in the center of the kitchen, which can be adjusted by extending the table. Nearby is a living room for relaxation with large glass doors leading straight into the garden. Architects also created a green roof in the renovated house and designed a large window above the relaxation area to fill the interior with natural light.
