Loft in Amsterdam with an Interesting Design

Undoubtedly, the advantage of former industrial spaces is high ceilings and an abundance of "air." In the 21st century, this space in Amsterdam successfully transformed from industrial to residential. The loft style and brick walls are no longer surprising, but the interior designer deserves credit for his excellent work with space and volumes. The apartment is presented as a single whole, where the kitchen, dining room, and living room are integrated into a unified space on the first floor. The same applies upstairs: walls and door openings flow into the staircase, which in turn flows into shelves above the bed and the bed itself. What is most remarkable is that the bathroom, resembling a bathtub, is an extension of the wall and even has its own window. To implement this idea, the floor under it had to be reinforced; the bathtub itself was made from acrylic stone so that there would be no joints, and thanks to its non-porous surface, the material does not absorb moisture. This is a very interesting space that embodies traditions and a modern approach to interior design.
